Virogen's New Business Unit, "The Cannabis Connection," to Focus on High-End Medicinal Marijuana Dispensary Niche within $15-20 Billion Legal Marijuana Market
Date:5/3/2013

SAN GERONIMO, Calif., May 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Virogen Inc. (OTC:VRNI), a holding company that owns Tiger Team Technologies and The Cannabis Connection, today announced that The Cannabis Connection, its recently launched business unit that intends to operate medicinal marijuana dispensaries in states that have legalized such operations, including California, will focus its efforts on serving the high-end dispensary niche, a market segment the company believes to be vastly underserved.

Concept.  The Connection's strategic concept is to pamper its medicinal marijuana clients with an opulent, high-end "boutique" experience, one featuring extremely attentive customer service personnel and only the highest-quality products. The Connection's "boutique" concept is in direct contrast to the vast majority of existing dispensaries that are mundane operations located in low-cost areas.

Location. The Connection's locations are expected to be located in and around affluent urban neighborhoods and business centers, as well as in affluent suburban areas.  These locations would be intended to provide ease of access and convenience to The Connection's target client base, affluent baby boomers who require the use of medicinal marijuana on a regular basis.  The company's management is convinced that convenient access to The Connection's dispensaries is a primary requirement to attracting its target client base.

Shops. Each location established by The Connection will be designed so as to provide an intimate, boutique-style retail experience, with an emphasis on client comfort and employee discretion.

"We believe The Connection's boutique image, when coupled with our gracious and discrete client services, will serve to attract our target client base, those 'boomers' who require medicinal marijuana but have grown weary of the low-budget shops' lack of finesse and, often times, lack of qua
