Valencia College verwendet hochmoderne Simbionix-Simulatoren für Ausbildungsprogramm im Bereich kardiovaskulärer Technologie

Simbionix bietet sogenannte Cardiovascular Technology (CVT)-Programme (dt. Programme für Herz-Kreislauf-Technologie) mit Ausbildungssimulatoren, die den Studierenden virtuell eine lebensechte Lernerfahrung bieten. Das Valencia College in Orlando, Florida, wendet diese Technologie in seinem CVT-Programm am Allied Health Department an.

Die Hochschul-Ausbilder verwenden die Simulatoren von Simbionix, um den Studenten ein lebensecht simuliertes Umfeld für endovaskuläre und periphere vaskuläre Eingriffe zu bieten. Die Module des ANGIO Mentor sind für die Bereiche Herz, Herzrhythmusmanagement, Nieren, SFA, Becken und den Bereich unter dem Knie konzipiert.

Der ANGIO Mentor ermöglicht Erfahrungen mit grundlegenden/fortgeschrittenen Fähigkeiten mit Führungsdrähten und Kathetern und bei endovaskulären Eingriffen. Außerdem kann Team-Erfahrung im Katheterlabor gesammelt werden. Weiterhin wird erlernt, wie der C-Arm, der Patiententisch und der
