Updated: Harwood Feffer LLP Announces Investigation of Edwards Lifesciences Corporation
Date:9/19/2013

NEW YORK, Sept. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Harwood Feffer LLP (www.hfesq.com) is investigating potential claims against the board of directors of Edwards Lifesciences Corporation ("Edwards" or the "Company") (NYSE: EW), concerning whether the board has breached its fiduciary duties to shareholders.

(Logo: http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20120215/MM54604LOGO)

On April 23, 2013, Edwards disclosed that numerous candidate hospitals had postponed training for the Company's SAPIEN device, that there was no significant backlog of patients for SAPIEN implants, and that the Company's financial results had been weaker than guidance, and would likely continue to be.

Our investigation concerns whether the Company board of directors has breached its fiduciary duties to shareholders, grossly mismanaged the Company, and/or committed abuses of control in connection with the foregoing.
