ShareCare Partners with Very Big Things to Launch COVID-19 Map with Data Visualization to Help Critical Decision-Making During Global Health Crisis

Award-winning digital product design and development agency Very Big Things partnered with Sharecare, a leading digital health company with over 60 million users, to build a COVID-19 map. The goal between both companies was to create a tool that provides Sharecare’s users with up to date clarity through easy-to-understand data and visuals on the current COVID-19 situation both globally and locally.

The map complements the COVID-19 resource hub created by Sharecare and offers the ability to navigate through copious amounts of data to better understand the current state of the virus impact.

Users can quickly dive in from a global view all the way down to a county view (US) and easily compare data. The product was created to work across all devices and more importantly, to easily make sense of the information presented.

“During this uncertain global health crisis, having access to accurate information in real-time helps to make life-saving decisions,” said Chris Stegner, CEO of Very Big Things. “At Very Big Things, we're used to taking something very complex and presenting it in a simple, friendly and easy to use way.”

With Sharecare’s leading position in the healthcare space, the urgency to release a COVID-19 resource to their millions of users in a timely manner was of the essence. With the availability of this resource, anyone can stay up to date on the progression, or regression, of the virus.
