North Texas Mental Health Clinic Providing Free Mental Health Assessment Reviews for Public Schools
Date:8/10/2019

Founder Margie Barilla continues to educate parents with differences of psychiatric hospitals and outpatient programs. Educating parents to obtain mental health screenings for early onset of depression, suicidal ideation, or behavioral challenges. Elevate Healthcare identified the patterns of school shootings and provided a solution to the community with free assessment reviews. At scheduled assessments students are given an opportunity to discuss bullying experiences, potential risk to harm self or others, emotional distress, and any further signs affecting mental health. “Mental health screenings should be required just as school physicals. Imagine the positive life changes with students taking coping skills into adulthood,” said founder Margie Barilla. Preparing our students for semester screenings, we are providing extensive support for north Texas school districts.

Elevate Healthcare has been open since February 2019 and have provided over 580+ free mental health assessments for students ages 5 to 17. Elevate Healthcare original vision to expand to 17 locations in North Texas has shifted since opening. In the last six months with the high demand from providers and parents, changes have been made to expand throughout Texas.

At Elevate Healthcare our licensed clinicians go above and beyond to serve our clients with service excellence and quality client care. Regardless of the beginning challenges of insurance companies dictating our client treatment or delayed reimbursements, our founder and utilization review coordinator continue to be advocates for our current and returning clients. Client’s that are admitted to programming experience a full wrap around service; group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, and direct access to our psychiatrist, without a wait list. Our mission is to educate our parents and maximize outpatient setting prior to admission to inpatient facility, alleviating an institutionalized experience. In the event of higher level of care is needed we refer out to vetted resources reducing diversion or unavailability of treatment.
