HealthcareSource Expands Talent Symposium Into a Multicity, Regional Series

HealthcareSource®, the leading provider of talent management solutions for the healthcare industry, today announced that it has expanded Talent Symposium, its annual conference for healthcare HR, talent management, L&D, and education professionals, into a multicity, regional series.

“Today’s healthcare talent professionals are managing a workload that’s 50% higher than it should be, with budgets that are typically four times smaller than those in non-healthcare industries,” said David Wilkins, HealthcareSource Chief Strategy Officer. “By bringing our Talent Symposium conference to our clients, we’re able to save them valuable time and budget while still offering them essential insights, training, and career development. Every session in the Talent Symposium Series will address the most pressing challenges healthcare organizations are facing today when it comes to hiring, keeping, and growing workers across the entire continuum of care, including acute, post-acute, and senior living.”

The first event in the Talent Symposium Series kicks off May 14 and 15 in Wakefield, Mass., and features keynote presentations by Wilkins and employee engagement expert Vicki Hess, RN, MS. The event also includes educational and training sessions, hands-on workshops, client-led presentations, and networking opportunities focused on talent acquisition, employee performance, learning and development, and strategic talent management.

The agenda for the regional Talent Symposium Series is designed to inspire healthcare leaders and HR professionals to take action by sharing high-impact strategies that help create environments where employees are engaged and organizational goals are achieved. The agenda features professional development sessions tailored to the full healthcare talent life cycle, including talent acquisition, employee performance, learning and development, staff retention and strategic talent management. Select sessions will also be accredited for HRCI/SHRM credits.

Additional Talent Symposium conferences are planned for other U.S regions in the coming months, including the Midwest, Northwest, Mid-Atlantic, and South. For more details on the HealthcareSource Talent Symposium Series, visit:
