Archwire can be made of nickel titanium, stainless steel and beta titanium. The market for endodontics is classified into endodontic files, obturation and permanent endodontic sealers. Obturation is further sub-divided into single use and delivery systems.

The periodontics market is segmented into five product types namely power driven scaling devices, dental sutures, locally applied therapeutic products, dental anesthetics and dental hemostats. Piezoelectric ultrasonic scalers, sonic tips, piezoelectric ultrasonic tips, sonic scalers, magneto restrictive ultrasonic scalers, and magneto restrictive ultrasonic inserts are the types of power driven scaling devices. Dental hemostats are sub-divided into gelatin based hemostats, oxidized regenerated cellulose based hemostats and collagen based hemostats. The market for retail dental care essentials is segregated into dental brushes, whitening agents, specialized dental pastes and dental wash solutions. The market for other consumables is distributed into face masks, distilled water, patient bibs, medical waste disposal, gloves, aspirator tubes and saliva ejectors. Gloves are divided into vinyl gloves, nitrile gloves and powder free gloves.
