China Medical Technologies to Announce Results for the Second Fiscal Quarter Ended September 30, 2011 on November 18, 2011

BEIJING, Nov. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- China Medical Technologies, Inc. (the "Company") (Nasdaq: CMED), a leading China-based advanced in-vitro diagnostic ("IVD") company, today announced that it will report its unaudited financial results for the second fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2011 ("2Q FY2011") before the U.S. market opens on November 18, 2011.

The Company's senior management will host an earnings conference call at 8:00 a.m. U.S. Eastern Time on November 18, 2011 (9:00 p.m. Beijing/Hong Kong time on November 18, 2011).
