Armanino Consulting Completes Integration of Microsoft Dynamics AX and Camstar MES for dpiX
Date:10/14/2011

SAN RAMON, Calif., Oct. 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Armanino Consulting today announced that dpiX has completed the successful company-wide Microsoft Dynamics AX implementation and the integration of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 with Camstar MES (Manufacturing Engineering System) to streamline the production of digital X-ray sensors used in digital X-Ray equipment.  Microsoft Dynamics AX is a comprehensive business management solution for midsize and enterprise organizations that helps improve efficiency, allows for better visibility into the entire organization, and reduces IT complexity.  Armanino Consulting teamed with dpiX to integrate the two software systems and eliminate business process redundancies.

dpiX converted a former 300,000-square-foot C-MOS factory in Colorado Springs into a state-of-the-art clean-room manufacturing facility for digital x-ray sensors. The software integration project signifies a milestone in the modern manufacturing process of these complex sensors.

Camstar MES captures the great level of detail required to produce the digital x-ray sensors. By implementing the Microsoft Dynamics AX enterprise resource planning system with the MES system, dpiX is able to seamlessly map all financial, inventory, labor, processing, and equipment depreciation costs associated with the production process.  The integration automates would-be manual work requiring three or more fully dedicated full-time staff members.  The daily process of managing error logs in the workbench has now become a secondary quality control system.

Armanino Consulting was selected to complete dpiX's recent integration of Dynamics AX 2009 and Camstar MES because of its deep industry knowledge. Armanino Consulting is a Microsoft Dynamics Gold Certified Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Partner and has implemented Microsoft Dynamics for a number of manufacturing clients throughout the region.
