Apnix Sleep Diagnositics Voted Best Sleep Doctors & Facilities from Sleep Review Magazine

HOUSTON, Feb. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Recently, Apnix Sleep Diagnostics was voted as the Best Sleep Doctors & Facilities in 2012 in the Sleep Review magazine, attesting to the company's profound success over the years.

Apnix Sleep Diagnostics has grown considerably in recent years, as noted by Sleep Review magazine. It is now an accredited lab for the Academy of Sleep Medicine, and it boasts nine locations throughout the Houston area. Currently, the company conducts over 300 sleep case studies per month, and this is anticipated to grow in the future. One of the key factors that Sleep Review contributes to the success of the company is its constant attention to the customer experience. The company strives to provide each of its patients with a pleasing, relaxing experience while also educating them and providing them with the tools they need to overcome their sleep challenges. This combined approach to serving its patients is enhanced by the company's devotion to developing relationships with some of the top sleep experts in the country. Several of these experts have become company consultants or now serve on its board of medical directors.

Apnix Sleep Diagnostics was founded in Houston in 2000 as a sleep diagnostics service company. Its founder, Steve Cela , had a strong background in business as well as an on-going passion for helping others. When the opportunity to use his business expertise to help those with sleep apnea and other sleeping disorders was presented to him, he took advantage of it. Through his business expertise and investing contacts that he had developed in previous business ventures he worked with, Cela was able to launch Apnix Sleep Diagnostics, treating Sleep Apnea cases in Houston while bringing expert services to all in the area.

In his younger years, Cela had the desire to enter medical school and to become a doctor so that he could help others improve their health. However, life had different things in mind for him, and he completed his Master's degree in Business at the University of Texas. Over the next few years, he worked in acquisitions, private equity and investment work. This background was instrumental for helping to get Apnix Sleep Diagnostics off the ground. In 2000, one of Cela's close friends was being treated for sleep apnea with a mask that was to be worn at night. Through his personal contact, Cela saw what a difference the mask made for his friend, and he instantly committed to helping others who suffered from this condition to enjoy those same results. Cela's long-standing desire to help others improve their health as well as his strong background in business were instrumental in the founding of Apnix Sleep Diagnostics.

Apnix Sleep Diagnostics has been serving the community for over 11 years and has improved the lives of over 20,000 patients. Apnix Sleep Diagnostics is an accredited member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and is ACHC accredited.  Apnix was originally founded on the principal of bringing a much-needed service to the many people who suffer from sleeping disorders, and the company has never lost sight of its original vision. In fact, this guiding vision has remained a hallmark of its total customer experience as it has strived to continually provide its patients with improved facilities and treatment options for their conditions. This is among the top reasons why Apnix Sleep Diagnostics has been voted the Best Sleep Doctors & Facilities in 2012 by the Sleep Review Magazine.
