SMITHFIELD, R.I., Oct. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ALCOR Scientific Inc., a leading manufacturer of diagnostic and medical devices, announced the appointment of Kenneth Campanale as Chief Operating Officer.

"As our company continues to expand in both the US and International markets, our business development and international operations are at the center of our global growth strategy," said Carlo Ruggeri, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at ALCOR. Ken's appointment comes at a time of great opportunity for the company. His 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry provide a strong foundation of business, customer and product knowledge to lead the organization forward.

In this new role, Ken will be responsible Operations, Customer Service, Regulatory and Quality and New Product Development.

Previously, Ken worked at Iris International, CR Bard and Millipore supporting Manufacturing, R&D, Quality and Business Strategy. Ken is also an instructor at Northeastern U. in Boston, MA. and Endicott College in Beverly, MA.
