Irri-Cath® Suction Systems

ProductsIrri-Cath® Suction Systems
Company Portex
Item Irri-Cath® Suction Systems
Features
  • The Irri-Cath® catheter is a dual lumen system consisting of an irrigation line through the lumen of the catheter
  • The simultaneous suction and irrigation creates a vortex or siphoning field beyond the catheter tip that allows recovery of large amounts of secretions
  • Provides a significant increase in secretion removal compared with standard suction and decreases oxygen desaturation
  • 10 per case
Description Irri-Cath® catheters help decrease the need for frequent suctioning and provide an alternative to fiber-optic bronchoscope for bronchial alveolar lavage as a diagnostic aid in opportunistic infections.

All Portex® Irri-Cath® suction systems are latex-free.

The Irri-Cath® suction system combines continuous irrigation and suctioning to remove tenacious secretions.
