Myths affect patients suffering from prostate cancer

A study conducted at University of Colorado has revealed that those who have been recently diagnosed with prostate cancer do not assimilate the information provided by Medical specialists//. So they are obviously not aware of the potential risks and treatment options that exist.

What patients do is to rely on disseminated information which is often misleading. Thus they get caught up with their own anxieties that blocks their thinking and even healing.

Dr. Thomas D. Denberg and his colleagues interviewed 20 men with recently diagnosed prostate cancer. According to Denberg's group,
