WOW Memories Announces New Efforts to Help Support Alzheimer’s Charity Events

The co-founders of the WOW Memories photo service have announced they will be participating in two different events in support of Alzheimer’s disease this Spring. The company has announced they will be donating one of their pieces for auction at the Rita Hayworth Gala in Chicago, hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association on May 11th. Prior to that, on March 13th, the WOW Memories team will be joining forces with the Alzheimer’s Foundation for the 2013 Illinois Action Summit.

On May 11th, those attending the Rita Hayworth Gala in Chicago, named for famed actress Rita Hayworth, will be featuring WOW Memories artwork as one of their auction items. At the event, hosted by Princess Yasmin Aga Khan, the daughter of Rita Hayworth, the item will be auctioned to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association and Alzheimer’s research. The professionals at WOW Memories have donated the artwork being auctioned in hopes to support the effort to raise Alzheimer’s Awareness. WOW Memories has already launched special photo art offers specifically for use in nursing homes around the country for those with Alzheimer’s disease.

At the 2013 Illinois Action Summit, held in the state’s capital on March 13th, the WOW Memories Team will be assisting in a meet ‘n greet with Lt. Governor Shelia Simon in her Springfield office for the event and working together with state legislators to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s disease.
