Bozeman, MT (PRWEB) July 07, 2013
The new TomTom Multisport GPS watch has been voted the best women's GPS watch for 2013 by the Heart Rate Watch Company.
"Two reasons: The thin profile and the ultra-lightweight", says Rusty Squire, President of the Heart Rate Watch Company. He adds, "We use several elite women athletes and weight, plus device size, are always the biggest obstacles".
"If a GPS watch doesn't fit, or feels too bulky, you are not going to like wearing it and we are confident that both of these issues have been minimized by TomTom", says Squire. He adds, "Most manufacturers have ignored the importance of these features up until now".
"This watch offers lap and stroke swim features, cycling and running metrics in a simplistic one button navigation format", says Squire. He adds, "It is the light weight and thin profile that many women will find very appealing".
WHY WEIGHT IS SUCH A CRITICAL ISSUE
"Consider running a marathon with one ounce of additional weight on your wrist", says Squire. He adds, "After 18,000 arm swings you've moved an additional 1,100 pounds of weight which puts the whole weight issue into perspective".
The TomTom Multisport GPS Watch comes in both grey and a dark pink color.
The Multisport GPS watch can interface with Bluetooth Smart speed and cadence sensor for cycling along with Bluetooth Smart foot pods for running. The watch can also offer heart rate with a TomTom Bluetooth Smart heart rate monitor that comes with a comfortable, flexible fabric strap.
"When it comes to women lightweight, ease of use and small size are very important", says Squire. He adds, "TomTom GPS watches will have a lot of appeal with women because they achieved all these criteria where others have failed".
