The Hill Agencies Join the Boys and Girls Club of Kern County in Charity Drive to Promote Local Children’s Camp Event
Date:5/19/2017

The Hill Agencies, a family managed firm that offers insurance management assistance and personal financial consulting to families and entrepreneurs throughout the California Central Valley, is announcing a joint charity initiative with the Boys and Girls Club of Kern County with the goal of raising community support for a local kid’s camp event.

The Boys and Girls Club of Kern County gives young people in the Bakersfield region access to a series of empowering programs that promote scholastic excellence and civic leadership. In addition to the Club’s summer day camp program, young people are provided with workshops that explore fine arts, sports, performing arts, and a wide range of STEM activities.

“Ensuring that young people in our community are given everything they need to succeed is crucial, and our goal during this charity drive is to support the Boys and Girls Club summer fun day camp,” says Rob Hill, founder and executive director of the Hill Agencies.

Hill and his team are already working to promote the Boys and Girls Club charity drive, and are actively reaching out to families, businesses, associates, and friends over social media and email channels in an effort to raise local support. Further efforts to publicize the charity drive are scheduled to include a feature article outlining the summer camp program in the upcoming issue of the Hill Agencies online magazine “Our Hometown”: http://thehillagencies.com/magazines/.

Last month, the Hill Agencies became a new regional affiliate of the “Agents of Change” charity involvement campaign. As members of this ongoing initiative, Hill and his team plan to dedicate time toward promoting additional charitable causes in the Bakersfield area at the rate of one every sixty days.

Readers who are interested in supporting the Boys and Girls Club of Kern County summer fun day camp event are personally invited by Hill and his team to visit the following page and learn how to take positive action: http://thehillagencies.com/causes/many-around-us-going-tough-time-right-now/. As the Hill Agencies support more nonprofits in the Bakersfield area, details on new charity programs will be made available on the firm’s Community Causes page: http://thehillagencies.com/community/.
