The Connecticut American Association of Diabetes Educators Names LaurieAnn Scher Diabetes Educator of the Year 2019

Connecticut AADE selects an annual CT Diabetes Educator of the Year who has shown leadership and accomplishment in the field of diabetes. According to the organization, LaurieAnn was chosen because of her strategic thinking, vision, and innovation displayed in both her work at Fitscript and in her volunteer work in diabetes organizations. She is moving diabetes education and support in a forward direction both in Connecticut and at the national level
