Securityhunter, Inc. Selected as a Top 25 Baltimore Defense Contractor for the Baltimore Business Journal's 2013 Book of Lists

Securityhunter, Inc., a Baltimore based electronic security provider, was selected by the Baltimore Business Journal as the 16th largest defense and federal contractor in the Baltimore area for fiscal year 2012. This award was based on the amount of federal funds awarded by the United States Federal Government as reported on the website USAspending.gov . This is an official website of the United States Government established by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) which tracks the funds awarded for federally sponsored projects during a given federal fiscal year. Securityhunter received awards totaling over $52 million dollars for 137 contracts in federal sales for fiscal year 2012. This is more than double the sales of $20 million dollars awarded for 2011, and significantly higher than the sales of fiscal year 2010 of approximately $1.4 million dollars.

The Baltimore Business Journal has included Securityhunter as number 16 in its Top 25 List in the Baltimore Business Journal's 2013 Book of Lists of highest performing companies in the Baltimore area. Securityhunter was ranked as number 16 among the largest government defense and federal contractors in the Baltimore area for 2012, based on the USAspending.gov website statistics. "Our awards are based on full and open competition. It is a remarkable achievement for us as we are a small business and had to compete against much larger corporations," says Michael Rogers, CEO of Securityhunter.
