North Shore-LIJ Physician Practice Group Honored with Baldrige Performance Award

rogress North Shore-LIJ has made in aligning the rapidly growing number of outpatient physician practices that have joined the health system in recent years, as well as those physicians practicing in our hospitals and other facilities. The examiners’ report highlighted customer focus as one of our Medical Group’s key strengths, and we are gratified that our efforts to serve patients and their families have been recognized by this esteemed program.”

PiPEX is a Baldrige Enterprise Member that supports organizations across New York and Massachusetts by helping them become more effective, competitive and sustainable through the use of the Baldrige principles for performance excellence. The group provides assessments, training, benchmarking, networking and recognition to bring about improvement in business.

An initiative of the Colorado-based Medical Group Management Association, Medical Group Practice Week advances the awareness and understanding of medical group practices as a premier form of health care delivery. It also honors those physicians, administrators and staff who dedicate their professional careers to the administration of quality health care.
