New Guide Offers Advice for Those Wanting to Live ‘In Health’
Date:1/20/2013

London (PRWEB) January 21, 2013

Dr. Liam Chapman’s new book “Health for Life: The Pathway to Biblical Health and Wholeness” (published by Trafford Publishing) is a thought-provoking, life-transforming and health-empowering book which brings a whole-person approach to life and living, impacting people spiritually, physically, emotionally and relationally.

Inspired by Dr. Chapman’s own efforts and experiences working with the Centre of Integrated Medicine, of which he is the founder, as well as his 20-year career in medicine, “Health for Life” presents health tips, practical guidance, instruction in personal reflection and action planning.

An excerpt from “Health for Life”:

“Living in the 21st century has unique challenges and opportunities. Globalization and economic development have opened up a new world of possibilities for many, while driving others into conflict, poverty and urban squalor. This raises issues of how we define health and wholeness on a personal, societal and communal level. As a medical doctor and minister, Dr Liam Chapman is perfectly placed to bring an integrated whole person perspective on these critical issues and raise important questions of value and purpose. The ‘Health for Life’ book offers a practical guide to unlock this modern dilemma for all of us.”

Though much of Dr. Chapman’s advice is faith-based, he is careful to remind readers that it is accessible to people of all faiths. “Health for Life,” he says, “…highlights and meets the unmet needs in people’s lives of spiritual, physical and relational fulfillment.”

About the Author
Dr. Liam Chapman grew up in Yorkshire, England, within walking distance of the countryside. This gave him a great appreciation of nature and the freedom associated with it. In 1988 he came to London to study medicine, and since then has been involved in many aspects of church-based ministry and leadership.

In 2001, Dr. Chapman launched the Centre of Integrated Medicine to facilitate the realization of a vision of whole-person care from a biblical perspective. This involves a medical practice, health consultancy and multimedia presentation and publication. He speaks and lectures at conferences, seminars and in churches. Dr. Chapman is a dynamic and innovative communicator who has integrated a whole-person approach to his life, healthcare and ministry.
