National Association of Professional Women Inducts Pamela Morningstar, Assistant Vice President of Medstar Health, Into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Pamela Morningstar as a 2015-2016 inductee into the NAPW VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in healthcare. With more than 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters, NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women.

Self-motivated, results oriented and driven to succeed, Pamela Morningstar is a seasoned professional who has constantly set her goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations for personal excellence. Throughout her career, she has exhibited exemplary teamwork, expertise, integrity and dedication.

Ms. Morningstar’s professional title is Assistant Vice President at Medstar Health, which specializes in healthcare. Her skills and areas of expertise include supply chain, purchasing and materials management. She is responsible for the operations of six departments, as well as overseeing the overhaul of the supply chain system in Perioperative Services.

Aside from her career, Ms. Morningstar, who has an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland, is currently involved with the Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management, Mid-Atlantic Society for Healthcare Materials Management and she is a certified Materials Resource Professional.

The unwavering dedication demonstrated by Ms. Morningstar fully utilizes the aspirations for success that have earned her this recognition from the National Association of Professional Women, honoring her as an inspiration and a leader in her industry.
