Miami Plastic Surgeon Jon Harrell Advises Patients to Always Use a Licensed Surgeon
Date:12/9/2013

Weston, FL (PRWEB) December 09, 2013

Florida plastic surgeon, Dr. Jon Harrell, founder of The Weston Center for Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery, says, with the holiday season approaching, it is a great time for cosmetic treatments such as dermal fillers. He also advises to patients to always ensure their doctor is a licensed professional before seeking cosmetic treatment.

Dr. Harrell referenced a recent Fox News story about a Texas woman who was caught after injecting people with what appeared to be some kind of liquid rubber under the guise that it was collagen or BOTOX Cosmetic®. In the article, Fox reported that Nohemi Gabriela was charged October 31st for treating patients for the unlicensed practice of medicine.

“There are many unlicensed, untrained and unscrupulous individuals willing to take advantage of patients who are too trusting or not informed enough to make the right decisions about who they will allow to treat them.” says Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Jon Harrell, “The lesson is to be careful in selecting a trained and skilled physician for aesthetic surgery and procedures and not let cost alone be the deciding factor."

Dr. Harrell and his dedicated staff offer a wide variety of cosmetic surgery treatments including:

  •     Breast Procedures
  •     Body Procedures
  •     Facial Procedures and Non-Surgical Rejuvenation
  •     Medical Spa and Skin Care
  •     Wellness Program
