Los Angeles Hair Transplant Surgeon Named One of the Top Doctors on Snapchat by U.S. News & World Report
Date:9/12/2017

Dr. Parsa Mohebi, the Los Angeles based founder of Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration, was recently named one of the top doctors on Snapchat. The list of doctors to follow, to learn more about plastic surgery and other medical procedures, was published in July by U.S. News & World Report.

Dr. Mohebi says he is “a big fan of sharing medical knowledge on Snapchat. As opposed to other social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook, Snapchat is where our patients expect to go behind the scenes by following our daily Snapchat story. Our staff is able to show those interested in hair restoration what they do on a daily basis during surgery. Our Snapchat videos take the mystery out of the procedure as well as help people who might be worried realize that a hair transplant is not a scary ordeal.”

When asked about a typical Snapchat story, Dr. Mohebi said “I try not to repeat myself to the point that patients know what to expect when it comes to following us. Our videos range from hair transplant revisions to beard to scalp transplants to showing how patients should wash their hair after a transplant. There is a great deal of knowledge to share with those interested in learning more about hair transplants as well as patients who have previously undergone a procedure. I love showing something new each time because you never know when you will share the specific piece of knowledge desired by a patient.”

Dr. Mohebi plans to continue using Snapchat to share behind the scenes videos and information about the latest advances in hair restoration. He says that social media platforms such as Snapchat “connect doctors and patients in a way that was not possible in the past. The instant sharing of information has helped patients become more informed and knowledgeable when making the decision about having surgery.”

About Dr. Parsa Mohebi:
As the first chairman of the FUE Research Committee of the International Society of Hair Restoration and creator of several methods and techniques in modern hair restoration, Dr. Mohebi, along with his staff, provides his patients with the most advanced hair restoration techniques currently available. Dr. Mohebi has been in the forefront of new research and developing the latest technology to advance the field of hair restoration. Dr. Mohebi is a Diplomat of the American Board of Hair Restoration and a fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration.
