SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Posit Science(R) CEO Steven Aldrich has been chosen for a Leader in Elder Care award by the popular content site for senior living, Inside Elder Care, based in Newport Beach, CA. This award is given to individuals who exhibit leadership, ideas and drive to make things better for a new generation of seniors. Mr. Aldrich was sited for his work in driving brain fitness to consumers, said founder Ryan Malone who had a chance to interview the CEO earlier today. A podcast of the conversation can be downloaded athttp://www.positscience.com/news/inside-elder-care-steven-aldrich.

Mr. Malone is also the author of the book By Families, For Families Guide to Assisted Living: A Step-by-Step Guide to Evaluating and Transitioning to an Assisted Living Community.

"Steven and his leadership in brain fitness are great illustrations of what companies can do to service seniors and the burgeoning baby boomer market," said Mr. Malone. "We feel that the mind is as important a muscle to pay attention to as any other part of the body in keeping in the best shape possible as one ages."

"Inside Elder Care is doing an impressive job in getting the word out about the need for appropriate senior care and I am very pleased that we are recognized as part of the solution," said Mr. Aldrich. "At Posit Science, we also want to keep people independent for as long as possible and we do this by offering brain training that helps users improve their quality of life and stay engaged with the world."
