With a wide range of activities, the Houston Rodeo gets underway on February 25th at Houston's Reliant Stadium and it will last until March 17th. This event is the world's largest live entertainment and livestock exhibition. Also called RodeoHouston or simply HLSR, it features the World's Championship Bar-B-Que Contest, trail rides, a calf scramble, parade, rodeo run, and a roundup, as well as rodeo events, concerts and a livestock show. It has evolved from just being a rodeo and livestock show in 1931.
