Gospel Fellowship Church Volunteering at Into Action Treatment

Gospel Fellowship, a new church in Boynton Beach that currently meets at Crosspointe Elementary, has recently embarked on a series of outreach measures that are designed to bring hope and joy to the surrounding community. Although Gospel Fellowship offers an engaging Sunday morning gathering and worship service, the institution's members also pride themselves on making a positive impact in the city. The church is committed to following the teachings of Jesus and is already making a significant difference in the lives of men and women who are struggling with addiction.

Involvement with IntoAction
While IntoAction Treatment is a treatment center that encourages spiritual, rather than religious beliefs, the facility is excited about the opportunity to partner with a church that strives to battle addiction with compassion and sincerity. The Gospel Fellowship has launched a monthly outreach program with volunteers that thus far has interacted with clients, participated in small construction projects, and helped develop a physical rehabilitation center.

The staff members at IntoAction Treatment have been exceedingly generous and have welcomed the church group with open arms. The few pictured in the accompanying photograph have dedicated time and energy to the treatment center. The volunteers, in fact, have truly enjoyed themselves and are thankful for the opportunity to make a difference.

Spirituality and Good Deeds
Spirituality is intimately intertwined with good deeds. When men and women open up their hearts to others within the community, they are ultimately acting as extensions of Christ himself. The volunteers who have spent time at IntoAction are dedicated to helping individuals who have fallen on hard times. By assisting the less fortunate in their time of need, the volunteers are hopeful that the kindness and generosity inherent in their ac
