Florida Firm Access Advisors Announces Charity Event in St. Petersburg to Provide Assistance to Wounded and Disabled Veterans
Date:11/29/2016

Access Advisors, a locally owned and operated firm providing insurance and financial planning services to families and business owners throughout the Florida Gulf Coast region, is embarking on a charity drive to raise awareness and donations for the Operation First Response organization.

Operation First Response is a direct service charity that has raised more than $7 million in donations to provide assistance to more than 16,000 veterans and their families. Assistance packages offered to veterans range from alleviation of financial difficulties to physical, psychological, and emotional support services for veterans struggling to overcome battle injuries, PTSD, or other disorders.

“With more than 200,000 veterans returning from overseas every year, it’s important that our community maintains the support services necessary for each of them to receive the care they deserve,” says Lamont Pelaez, executive vice president of Access Advisors.

Pelaez and his professional team are busy constructing an online social media and email platform that will allow Access Advisors to communicate with area residents and share information about the Operation First Response charity event. Additional publicity will be generated from a full length article detailing the event scheduled for publication in the Access Advisors online magazine “Our Hometown”: http://myaccessadvisor.com/magazines/.

Operation First Response is only the first of many Gulf Coast charitable causes that the Access Advisors team plans to support in the near future. As new affiliates of the national charity involvement program “Agents of Change,” the firm will be working with another new local charity several times per year.

Readers that want to be part of the St. Petersburg charity event to support Operation First Response are invited to join the Access Advisors team by visiting this link and taking action to further the cause: http://myaccessadvisor.com/causes/extending-hand-local-heroes/. More information on charitable organizations and nonprofits supported by the Access Advisors team will be detailed on the firm’s permanent Community Causes roster: http://myaccessadvisor.com/community/.
