Especially Yours and Paula Young Team up with Diahann Carroll and Jaclyn Smith in the Fight Against Breast Cancer

WEST BRIDGEPORT, Mass., Sept. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death for women in the U.S., after lung cancer. Approximately 40,460 women in the U.S. will die from the disease in 2007. Approximately 11% of women diagnosed with invasive breast cancer die from the disease within five years.*

Alarmed by such shocking statistics, Especially Yours (http://www.especiallyyours.com), the mail order giant for hair for African American women, has teamed up with Diahann Carroll, who is a breast cancer survivor, and the national spokesperson for the 'Star Campaign' (http://www.starcampaign.org). Sponsored by The Wellness Community, the Star Campaign enables those affected by cancer to honor the carers who have guided them through their cancer journey. The Wellness Community (http://www.thewellnesscommunity.org) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to providing free support, education and hope to people with cancer and their loved ones.

Since 1998, the Especially Yours monthly catalog and website have offered an exclusive line of classic and elegant Diahann Carroll styles.
