Dickinson Insurance & Financial Services Initiates Holiday Charity Drive for the Little Rock Chapter of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots Program
Date:12/5/2015

Dickinson Insurance & Financial Services launches another new charity campaign as part of their ongoing community involvement program. Turning their efforts to helping local children have a brighter Christmas, they are partnering with the Little Rock chapter of the U.S. Marine Corp’s Toys for Tots program. Donations are now being accepted through the campaign’s page http://little-rock-ar.toysfortots.org/local-coordinator-sites/lco-sites/default.aspx.

Toys for Tots is a nationally revered organization which supplies toys and books to over 7 million children in the U.S. every year. Since the Secretary of Defense approved Toys for Tots as an official activity of the U.S. Martine Corps and an official mission of the Marine Corps Reserve in 1995, their objective has been to help less fortunate children throughout the country to experience the joy of Christmas. Believing children to be our nation’s most valuable resource, they are committed to bringing a message of hope which will encourage disadvantaged children to become responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. Toys for Tots dedicates three months every fall to uniting local communities with toy collection and distribution campaigns.

“The holidays should be a magical time for children, and all too many local children have never experienced a joyful Christmas,” stated Jason Dickinson, owner of Dickinson Insurance & Financial Services. “We feel honored to do anything we can to help. Let’s show the kids of Little Rock that the people of this community truly care!”

Dickinson Insurance hopes to bring greater awareness and support for this amazing nonprofit organization, and is mobilizing their own network of personal and professional contacts from their four area locations to help spread the word about the Toys for Tots campaign. The agency’s team has set a fundraising goal of $500, and is promoting the cause through their social media channels, email and text message communications, as well as through their monthly magazine, which is delivered to thousands of households in the greater Little Rock area. Our Hometown magazine has reserved a full page to feature the campaign and all its details. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue may be accessed here: http://www.dickinsoninsuranceagency.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.

Readers with who wish to join Dickinson Insurance’s efforts to bring hope and joy to all the community’s children this season are encouraged to visit http://www.dickinsoninsuranceagency.com/A-New-Toy-for-Holiday-Joy_19_community_cause and are asked to share the page with their own family, friends and business contacts. The agency itself has pledged to donate $10 to Toys for Tots for every recommendation they receive for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary.

The ongoing Community Program initiated by Dickinson Insurance & Financial Services will continue to highlight and support people in need in the local community. Jason Dickinson and his team have pledged to launch a new campaign every 30-60 days, in collaboration with local nonprofits and community members.
