Date:2/6/2013

Wyomissing, PA (PRWEB) February 06, 2013

William “Buddy” Gillespie, DSS Director of Healthcare Solutions, has been elected to the Pennsylvania eHealth Initiative (PAeHI) Board of Directors for a two-year term as the Supporting Organization representative. In his new role, Gillespie will represent the 27 supporting organizations in future board decisions and related initiatives. A non-profit coalition, PAeHI focuses on bringing together PA healthcare and business leaders to develop a vision and strategy for the future of healthcare information technology (IT) and the safe exchange of this information. In addition to his board responsibility, Gillespie serves as chair of the newly formed Business, Health Outcomes and Health Information Exchange Committee for PAeHI. In his current role as Director of Healthcare Solutions for DSS, Gillespie’s position is a critical part of the company’s continued efforts to develop a core focus on Healthcare IT Solutions, and set the stage for future growth. His responsibilities include direct consulting with clients, assessing and improving healthcare solution offerings, helping drive the DSS brand into the healthcare community, and initiating relationships with hospitals and practices for future business development.
