CureMD EHR V10 CCHIT Certified® 2011with Five Stars for Usability.

New York, NY (PRWEB) April 25, 2010 -- CureMD Corporation, the leading provider of web based electronic health records (EHR), practice management, patient portal and revenue cycle service, announced today that CureMD EHR V10 has earned its designation as a fully CCHIT Certified® 2011 Ambulatory EHR in the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology's (CCHIT®) independently developed certification program. Also, based on CCHIT's first usability testing for ambulatory EHRs, CureMD EHR earned a five star rating, the commission's highest.

During the commission's multifaceted inspection process based on real-life medical scenarios that are designed to test products rigorously against the complex needs of health care providers, CureMD EHR was thoroughly tested using criteria that inspect an EHR's integrated functionality, interoperability and security as well as usability.
As a fully CCHIT Certified® 2011 Ambulatory EHR, CureMD EHR passed inspection of 100 percent of these criteria including verification of successful use at live sites.

"Believing there is no meaningful use without the ease of use, CureMD EHR's highest usability rating validates how it can simplify meaningful use, drive outcomes and subsidy payments to maximize value and returns. With the most current certification, our Internet based service remains ahead of other obsolete desktop based disparate systems - offering all that providers need to succeed in today's quality driven reimbursement environment", Said Bill Hashmat, CIO at CureMD Corporation.
