Carpe Takes Aim At Groin Sweat, Launches Groin Powder With Precision Lever Sprayer

Antiperspirant manufacturer Carpe announced the launch of a new product today: an absorbent powder designed to reduce groin sweat and friction. The powder comes in a compact 10 gram container with a patented precision lever sprayer, and is designed for maximum efficacy, convenience, and portability.

“Groin sweat and the chafing it can cause are an uncomfortable reality for a lot of people, but existing products—mostly talc-based powders—are either ineffective or extremely messy to apply.” said Carpe CEO and co-founder David Spratte, “We decided to address those issues by creating a product that is compact, ultra-absorbent, and easy to apply without making a mess. I think we were successful.”

Carpe’s no-sweat groin powder reduces friction while absorbing sweat. The formula uses a combination of starches, kaolin, and silica microspheres to protect against chafing. It’s lightly scented with a blend of botanical extracts and menthol, which produces a gentle cooling sensation. The powder is applied via a patented lever sprayer, which allows users to neatly apply the powder to areas that would be difficult to access with a shaker bottle.

Carpe manufacturers a line of sweat management products, including hand and foot antiperspirant lotions, an extra strength underarm antiperspirant, and on-the-go antiperspirant body wipes. Spratte commented, “We view the groin powder as part of a continuing mission that we have as a brand to address sweating beyond the underarm. Our mission is to be the most comprehensive and reliable solution for total body sweat management.”

Carpe’s groin powder retails at $19.95. It is available along with Carpe’s other products at and will be available on Amazon in time for Father’s Day.
