IR (infrared) and USB ports enable interfacing with various personal health devices including pedometers. Optional features include both a magnetic stripe and barcode reader for customer loyalty card programs and product information. CBS Outernet will showcase its digital video screens that are found in and around pharmacy areas that will provide shoppers with relevant health-related information and advertising and educate them about the functions of Lifeclinic's health station. The separate screens as well as the user interface screen on the LC600 create a Wellness Channel branded for specific pharmacies.

Lifeclinic has provided 950 SportBrain pedometers which will be distributed at the NACDS registration counter to all retailer attendees. Retailers will be encouraged to begin wearing the pedometer immediately so as to accumulate as many steps as possible during the Conference. As retailers stop by Lifeclinic's booth, #1423, they will be able to register, upload their pedometer data through a Lifeclinic Health Station, see their results posted on a "Leader Board," and compare themselves to their colleagues in the industry. The "Top Stepper" will receive a Lifeclinic LC500 health station valued at about $9,000 for his or her company's employee wellness progr
