Bay Area Colon Cancer Support Organization Strides for Life Colon Cancer Foundation Hosts Anniversary Dinner

Strides for Life Colon Cancer Foundation, a non-profit colon cancer support organization in the Bay Area, is hosting a 10th anniversary dinner and auction in memory of Dylan Lawrence Cappel. The event will take place on March 2 at the Junipero Serra High School Gym, located at 451 W. 20th Ave. in San Mateo, from 5 to 10 p.m.

"This will be a night to remember, and we hope you will join us in fighting this disease by supporting colon cancer education and prevention,” Katie Christie of Strides for Life Colon Cancer Foundation said. “Please make your reservation to attend by Feb. 26.”

The evening will include live and silent auctions, a no-host bar and a casual dress code. Guests will also enjoy a surf and turf dinner with fresh crab, penne pasta and garlic bread; and a tri-tip steak, salad and dessert.

The 10th anniversary dinner and auction costs $65 per person, with tables of 12 available. Online reservations and/or colon cancer donations can be submitted at http://www.stridesforlife.org.

Strides for Life Colon Cancer Foundation’s fundraising efforts are used to pay for colonoscopies for the uninsured and underinsured.
