Author Victoria Hamilton's Newly Released “Seasons” is the Heartfelt Tale of a Young Girl Finding Her Way Through the Challenges of College Life and Growing Up
Date:7/14/2017

“Seasons”: a walk through the transitional part of life that comes with leaving home for the first time to embark on a quest to find personal joy and purpose. “Seasons” is the creation of published author, Victoria Hamilton, who graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a major in psychology. She currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas. Victoria felt God’s call to write this book that is based off a few of her experiences, dealing with some of life’s many struggles and her desire and search for the Lord.

Victoria hopes that "this book will help those who have encountered some of the topics brought up in this book and know that they are never alone. That God is for them and that this is only a season."

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Victoria Hamilton’s new book is exciting and true-to-life as a young woman is thrust into situations and must learn to rise above her troubles and the many trials she faces.

After her high school graduation, Hanna was ready to embark on a new adventure, college, gaining a fresh start and a completely clean slate. It’s not all fun and games as she tries to make friends, deal with life, and finish homework. The past seems to haunt her as her dad wants to be back into her life, bringing up old wounds. After several choices, some she made and others she didn’t, Hanna finds herself hitting rock bottom with a thud. Desperate to diminish the pain building inside her, she copes with her insecurities and feelings of unworthiness with self-harm and other means. With the guidance of a few close friends and no one else to turn to, Hanna resorts to the only thing she has left, her Bible. She turns to God, pressing into Him to make it through the semester and the obstacles she is facing, changing her from the inside out.
