As Demand for PPACA Information Increases, United Benefit Advisors Names Chief Compliance Officer, Linda Rowings, “Staff Member of the Year”
Date:7/15/2013

Indianapolis, Indiana (PRWEB) July 15, 2013

United Benefit Advisors (UBA), one of the nation's leading independent employee benefits advisory organizations, and a leading provider of health care reform compliance content, has announced the results of its annual ‘Ubbie Awards’ with Linda Rowings, Chief Compliance Officer, receiving the newly-created ‘Staff Member of the Year’ award for 2012. UBA experienced tremendous demand for its Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) compliance documents in 2012 and 2013, a result of Mrs. Rowings’ outstanding contribution to the legal space surrounding health care reform law.

Under Rowings’ direction, UBA offers unparalleled PPACA compliance tools to employers nationwide. The UBA website offers an online resource center with white papers, regulation and guidance updates, and more. In addition, through its more than 140 Partner Firms, UBA serves 36,000 employers with additional compliance resources including:

  • HRinsider HR news web portal
  • HR elements trends newsletter
  • Compliance Alert and Newsletter subscription
  • Webinars with leading benefits law experts
  • Compliance dashboard to track progress on compliance tasks
  • Customized pay or play analysis reports

As Chief Compliance Officer, Rowings is responsible for providing assistance to Partner Firms on a variety of compliance issues that affect fully insured and self-funded plans, including, but not limited to, PPACA. Rowings is available for interview and UBA resources are available to the media.

The Ubbie Awards are in recognition of innovation, quality of work, professionalism and contributions to programs that enhance business practices for the greater good of the entire organization. Award recipients must contribute to the development of resources and education necessary to help employers effectively
