AJG Packaging Announces Availability of Resealable Single-Dose Vials for a Myriad of Applications
Date:8/19/2019

AJG Packaging, a New Jersey-based total solutions provider for sourcing, filling and secondary packaging needs, announced the availability of resealable single-dose vials for a multitude of applications. The strips, from Italian packaging leader, Bisio Progetti, A Division of the Guala Group, consists of five resealable breakaway vials and are available in either polyethylene or polypropylene in sizes that range from 0.3 to 10.0 milliliters. Originally developed for ophthalmic eye drops, these multi-purpose, single-dose strips accommodate a variety of uses, including regimen products in one contained offering that delivers a precise amount each time.

AJG Packaging is the exclusive distributor of Bisio Progetti products in the United States. Their line of thermoplastic packaging items for the food, pharmaceutical, medical and cosmetic industries are professionally crafted in Italy. According to AJG representatives, the possibilities for the multi-purpose single-dose vials range from a variety of facial, sun and hair care products – including sun tanning products – to shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body scrub and cannabidiol (CBD) substances. The tubes are available in a variety of different resins and colors, depending upon a client’s product needs and specifications. Single-dose vials can be labeled or printed with a product/brand name, dosage and more.

“At AJG, innovative design meets every day needs – and our resealable single-dose vials are a testament to that philosophy,” states AJG Packaging CEO, Matthew Grimaldi. “These products join an abundance of unique dispensing systems for the beauty, pharmaceutical, and consumer package goods industries. To say we’re enthusiastic about the potential for this package is something of an understatement.”

Configured as single-dose strips, the five re-closeable tubes can be filled with any liquid, cream or lotion. Users are able to dispense multiple doses from a tube or size a strip so that each individual tube provides a single dose. For the end user, it’s as simple as detaching the cap and dispensing the required amount of product. Users of multi-use tubes can reseal them simply by inverting and replacing the cap.
