eKare’s inSight Joins the NHS Digital Health Accelerator Program
Date:10/3/2019

eKare’s inSight® digital 3D imaging and wound measurement system has been selected to join the prestigious NHS Digital Health Accelerator run by the East Midlands Academic Health Science Network (EMAHSN), the innovation arm of the NHS. The program was designed to speed up the adoption of technology in NHS by providing support to develop and deploy solutions to the most pressing challenges facing the NHS.

The Digital Health Accelerator program will help advance the inSight technology by providing specialist advice and training, one-to-one support, ‘meet the experts’ sessions, and opportunities to showcase their products with NHS decision-makers and influencers. inSight is a 3D imaging and wound measurement system that incorporates the latest achievements in artificial intelligence and deep learning giving clinicians the power to make data-driven clinical decisions to effectively treat patients.

“To have our inSight technology join the EMAHSN digital health accelerator program is a true honor,” says Patrick Cheng, CEO eKare. “Congratulations to Woundworks, our European partners, on this opportunity. We look forward to collaborating with the program’s strong network of resources to continue bringing innovative solutions to the NHS and its participants.”

“We’re delighted to welcome Woundworks alongside other innovators and like-minded businesses across the UK to the digital health ecosystem we’re building,” states Nicholas Brown, Commercial Manager EMAHSN. “Wound care presents a significant challenge for the NHS and Woundworks is able to demonstrate a proven digital solution with a strong pipeline of future developments we feel has huge potential to help improve how wound care is delivered.’’
