TrueVision® 3D Surgical and i-Optics Announce Collaboration to Integrate Diagnostics and Computer-Guidance in Cataract Surgery
Date:4/18/2013

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) April 18, 2013

TrueVision® 3D Surgical and i-Optics® announced today a collaboration designed to integrate the precision measurements of the i-Optics Cassini® corneal diagnostic device with the TrueVision Refractive Cataract Toolset® surgical guidance applications.

By combining these world-class technologies, the two companies continue to advance technology that allows corneal and cataract surgeons to measure astigmatism and deliver patient-specific treatments with precision. Combining the precision diagnostic accuracy of the Cassini device with seamless image transfer to the Refractive Cataract Toolset® software will bring optimal patient efficiency to cataract surgical practices, as well as provide precise data for use in the TrueVision® computer-guidance surgical applications.

TrueVision® and i-Optics will demonstrate the initial efforts in this collaboration to surgeons at the 2013 American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery in San Francisco, CA, taking place at the Moscone Center on April 20-23. Private demonstration meetings by appointment will take place in meeting room 10 in Hall E/Room 135.
