Rhinebeck, NY (PRWEB) February 01, 2013

Topricin Pain Relief and Healing Cream has been selected to be featured during the fund-raising silent auction at the 23rd annual MusiCares tribute gala on February 8th honoring Bruce Springsteen. The legendary “Boss” has been designated as the 2012 MusiCares’ Person of the Year in recognition of his extraordinary creative accomplishments as well as his significant charitable works and philanthropic activities.

Proceeds from the benefit gala dinner and concert — to be held in Los Angeles during GRAMMY Week two days prior to the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards — will provide essential support for MusiCares, which ensures that music people have a place to turn in times of financial, medical and personal need.

"Bruce Springsteen is a truly gifted and Renaissance artist of our time, a national treasure, and an exemplary humanitarian," says Neil Portnow, President/CEO of the MusiCares Foundation and The Recording Academy. "His career is a testament to the power of creative excellence, and his contributions as a philanthropist speak to the tenacity of the human spirit.”

The 2013 MusiCares gala—which will be hosted by Jon Stewart—features a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner, award presentation, and a star-studded tribute concert. Elton John, Neil Young, Jackson Browne, Emmylou Harris, Faith Hill, Patti Smith, Sting, and other will be on hand to celebrate Springsteen. Arranger/composer and nationally renowned music producer Rob Mathes will be the evening's musical director.
