In June 2013, NSG launched their new cutting-edge photometric calibration kit. This kit was designed specifically to replace any NIST 2013a Metal On Quartz calibration kits made by other companies. NSG has named this kit "NIST 2031a FUV Kit 6" (Kit 6). NSG has packaged this kit with three upgraded NIST 2031a compatible standards (10%T, 30%T, 90%T), an NIST compliant certificate of calibration, and a Lifetime Warranty.
Normally, NIST calls to have 2031a calibration standards recalibrated every year. NSG has invented a special process called "Nano-Deposition Layering." This process is we apply a special multi-layered matrix within the neutral density glass, permanently locking in the properties of the material.

The benefits of Nano-deposition layering are endless. The FUV Kit 6 is the only NIST 2031a kit that never requires recalibration.
