Positive Psychology Webinar for Coaches and Career Counselors Led by Accentuate Consulting
Date:3/28/2013

Washington, DC (PRWEB) March 28, 2013

Accentuate Consulting today announced its upcoming Webinar series on Positive Psychology along with Positive Matters. The Webinar series, which will focus on Positive Psychology, the scientific study of psychological well-being and happiness, will be conducted in a series of four sessions from April 2 to 23. The series will offer Career Counselors and Coaches practical techniques to incorporate positive psychology into their practices and apply it to help their clients flourish. The series is held by two respected leaders in the applied positive psychology field, Louisa Jewell, MAPP and Shannon Polly, MAPP. Jewell is the founder and president of the Canadian Positive Psychology Association. Polly is one of the founders of Positive Business DC.

"These facilitators are so engaging,” said Carolyn Meacher, Leadership Coach. “The exercises are highly relevant and immediately useful. And It’s rare in a Webinar to actually feel that we are all in the room together. Somehow Shannon and Louisa pull it off.”

The Webinars, which are being co-presented by the Canadian Education and Research Institute for Counselling (CERIC), will include the latest techniques including how to help clients increase psychological resilience, reduce stress and anxiety, increase positive energy, achieve healthier thought processes, and improve psychological well-being and happiness. Participants will also receive a detailed workbook of exercises for use with their clients.

“These skills are a natural fit for career counselors and coaches to develop because they offer so many practical tools to improve the well-being, success and happiness of their clients,” said Po
