Portal Solutions Launches AuthentiMate™ a “Bring Your Own SharePoint Identity” Solution
Date:10/2/2013

Rockville, Maryland (PRWEB) October 02, 2013

Portal Solutions, a technology consulting firm that provides digital workplace solutions, today announces its newest product, AuthentiMate™ – a SharePoint authentication solution that allows external users to use popular social site credentials to access a SharePoint environment.

AuthentiMate™ enables organizations to securely and easily share content and applications with external customers, partners and stakeholders without user management involvement. The solution eliminates the need for administrators to assign and manage usernames and passwords and provides users the flexibility and convenience to use already established credentials. External parties can connect to a SharePoint environment using credentials from popular social sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Microsoft Account (Live ID). It also provides a large range of functionality to address the complexity of configuring user management, federation and single-sign on settings.

“At Portal Solutions we are constantly looking for ways to deliver greater value to our customers through our services and solutions. AuthentiMate™ will help to alleviate the burden of managing external users and create a much better user experience that will help improve user satisfaction and adoption,” says Rick Hinton, Vice President of Products and Solutions at Portal Solutions.
