NSG Has Just Released Its NIST 930e Photometric Accuracy Standard Kit for Spectrometer Calibration and It's Changing the Spectroscopy World
Date:7/18/2013

to be recalibrated.

The absorbance/transmittance values of this kit entirely complies with that of the SRM NIST 930e. Moreover, the tolerances of NSG’s NIST 930e kit are actually tighter than those of NIST’s boasting +/- 0.0022au. The performance of the calibration standards of this kit are unrivaled. This product has optical densities of 0.1au (10%), 0.2au (20%), and 0.3au (30%), a wavelength range of 400-700 nm (this kit can be used for any wavelength within this range), tolerances or +/-0.0022 au and the filters have an external dimension of 12.5 x 12.5 x 45 mm, enabling them to fit in any standard spectrophotometer.

Included in the NIST 930e replacement kit is the Instruction manual, Certificates of calibration with NIST traceability and photometric accuracy data tables which are available for qualified customers.

What are the benefits of using the NIST 930e kit? Firstly, they are highly accurate and consistent spectrophotometer calibration every time. They never have to be replaced and never have to be recalibrated if used properly. Its scratch-resistant coating protects optical surfaces and can also be used in any spectrophotometer (with standard 12.5 x 12.5 x 45mm holder). This kit surpasses NIST 930e requirements and tolerances and is NIST Compatible.
