Midwest Biotech Leaders Featured On BioSpace Map

DENVER, July 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today BioSpace, the leading life sciences employment and news website, launched the 2014-2015 BioMidwest Hotbed map campaign spotlighting the life sciences community in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio and Wisconsin.

BioMidwest is a leader in biotech and pharmaceutical employment with 11 percent of all job postings on BioSpace originating in this region in 2013. The life sciences sector in this area also shows significant signs of growth, evidenced by an 11 percent jump in the number of jobs posted in the Midwest from 2012 to 2013.
