LATISTA Announces Next-Generation iPad App 2.0 for Construction with Industry Leading Innovations
Date:1/16/2013

Reston, VA (PRWEB) January 16, 2013

LATISTA, the leader in field management solutions for construction, announced the release of LATISTA for iPad 2.0. The new version has a more user-friendly design and more than 20 new features created to address the challenges faced by project owners, contractors and subcontractors. LATISTA for iPad 2.0 is available now through Apple iTunes and can be accessed directly here: http://j.mp/LATISTA.

Eliminating the need for paper in the field, LATISTA transforms your documents, quality, commissioning and safety processes with a mobile and cloud-based platform, resulting in reduced project costs and delays. LATISTA worked directly with some of the biggest names in construction to test and refine their latest release and this collaboration is reflected throughout the application.

“We designed the new layout to make the features used most often more accessible. We literally put the tools our users need right at their fingertips,” according to Patricia Remacle, Vice-President of Product Management. “With such innovations as visual punch list and interactive inspection forms, this release adds to our industry leadership position.”

Below is a selection of the more than 20 new features present in LATISTA for iPad 2.0:

  • Visual Punch List or Punch on Plan
Rapidly create issues using drag-and-drop standard defects on a drawing or plan. Reduce cycle times with issue-generated workflows, which will automatically notify responsible parties. Users, including subcontractors, can manage their issues right from the drawing, eliminating miscommunications. Consolidate, sort and filter multiple users’ issues into a single view on a drawing for management reporting and analysis.

  • Interactive Inspection Forms
