Charleston LASIK surgery expert Dr. Kerry Solomon, Professor of Ophthalmology at Magill Vision Center of the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), was honored for his contribution regarding "Factors Associated with Patient Dissatisfaction after LASIK", which determined that LASIK eye surgery has a very high level of patient satisfaction (nearly 94.5%). Portland, Oregon LASIK surgery expert Dr. Brian Will received his award for "Method for Improved Centration of Femtosecond Laser Procedures". New York expert LASIK Surgeon, Dr. Eric Donnenfeld and his colleague, Dr. Renee Solomon, received a best paper of the session honor for his research regarding "Scanning Electron Microscopy Ultrastructural Comparison of 150 kHz Femtosecond Laser Versus Microkeratome Lamellar LASIK Flap Creation".
