Health Heroes and DMG Productions Proudly Announce Airing of New Episodes

DMG Productions announced today that an upcoming episode of Health Heroes, centered on the latest advancements in health and wellness will be airing on February 17, 2013, at 4:30 p.m. EST on Fox Business.

Every day, major advancements are being made in every aspect of medicine. From the latest in molecular biology and DNA sequencing, to state-of-the-art health monitoring capabilities, Health Heroes will document it all.

This particular episode of Health Heroes will showcase dxdt's Quantitative Retina Test Grid, which was developed in cooperation with physicians from the National Eye Institute of the U.S. National Institutes of Health. This inexpensive software product that is a first-of-its-kind, not only allows retina patients to measure their retina health at home, it maintains a history of it that can be used for monitoring of retina health and prognostic and research purposes.

Health Heroes will educate audiences on Covaris, a company whose wide variety of applications in fields like life sciences and genetics makes them quite literally, on the cutting edge. Drawing from expertise in fields ranging from molecular biology to acoustic physics, Covaris is known for their patented “Adaptive Focused Acoustics” or AFA technology and instruments.

Dental Access Mobile Clinics will also be featured in this upcoming episode of Health Heroes. On location in Concord, South Carolina, viewers will discover a new and innovative dental concept that is bringing the dentist directly to the patient. Spectators will see how through modern technology and advanced equipment, true four-handed dentistry is being performed in both mobile clinics and temporary dental offices. Watch for a behind-the-scenes look at the precision and dedication that goes into the manufacturing of these unique mobile dental clinics and temporary offices.
