EO2 Concepts, a medical device company based in San Antonio, TX, endorses Clinovo for its open-source Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system: ClinCapture

EO2 Concepts chose to implement Clinovo’s open-source EDC system for a 120 patient clinical study to treat diabetic foot ulcers using oxygenation, with 10 US based sites. Clinovo deployed the clinical database according to timelines, meeting the customer’s needs and expectations.

EO2 Concepts was really impressed by the ease-of-use of ClinCapture. “I was amazed to see how easy the new release of ClinCapture was to use. I already thought ClinCapture was a great open-source Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system, but this new release is absolutely fantastic” explains Mark Niederauer, Ph.D., Chief Technology Officer at EO2 Concepts.

EO2 Concepts was looking for a cost-efficient, 21 CFR part 11 compliant Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system. They needed a flexible eClinical system that could be easily re-used for their upcoming studies. The medical device company also wanted to keep control of their data, which ClinCapture offers as an open-source EDC solution.
