For more than a decade, BioSpace has been highlighting life sciences / biotech in the Pharm Country region with the Pharm Country Hotbed map. The map highlights organizations that comprise biotech, pharmaceutical, and the medical device community in the Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania area. To honor the 13th edition, which launches in June, BioSpace developed the report that examines Pharm Country's economic outlook.

"Pharm Country continues to be a leading life sciences hotbed region as number three in U.S. hiring," said Tricia Pattee , BioSpace Product Manager. "In fact, if the numbers that we see continue, it could move into the number two spot in 2013."
